Habitat

The Vistula River flowing through Warsaw is not fully regulated, a situation that is unique on a European scale. On the right bank of the river, a strip of riparian forest and undeveloped open spaces extends along almost its entire length through the city. This environment provides living conditions for many mammal species that inhabit these areas permanently: roe deer, wild boar, foxes and beavers, accustomed to the noise from the bridges spanning the Vistula. The forest corridor through Warsaw also provides a route across the urban area for other mammals, including elk and wolves.

Habitat is a documentary record of animals living within the boundaries of the Polish capital.
