Gintautas Mažeikis

Gintautas Mažeikis is one of the most famous and interesting Lithuanian philosophers, cultural theorist, anthropologist, head of the Department of Philosophy and Social Criticism, professor.

His research focuses on the analysis of contemporary theories of social and political philosophy, postmodern political anthropology, propaganda and symbolic thinking. He has published monographs on Renaissance worldview and culture, philosophical anthropology, the framework for developing competences through cooperative studies, etc.

The philosopher also actively participates in and organizes civic, artistic, anthropological and religious events, and regularly participates in international scientific conferences, projects and researches.
