Biography
Natalia Evelyn Bencicova (born 1992 in Bratislava) is a visual artist specialising in photography, film and new media. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, where she received an Mgr. Art degree. Bencicova combines an interest in contemporary culture with academic research, creating a space where the conceptual meets the visual. Her narrative scenarios blur the boundaries between reality, memory and imagination – an approach she describes as “fiction based on truth”. Set within symbolic environments, her images enable an exploration of themes that extend beyond what they reveal at first glance.
