Oleksandra Mykhailova

Mary Jane is an artistic pseudonym for the Ukrainian photographer Oleksandra Mykhailova. She was born and raised in Dnipro and studied and worked in Kyiv for many years. She just graduated master’s degree in Cognitive Science and trying to combine her main interests in science with her art, exploring the main topics – people, their emotions, and their surroundings. The dynamical system between the perception of the art, participants of the project, and the viewer. She uses very personal plots and topics like her marriage or relationships with friends and family to highlight the main ideas of the works.
