Vilius Juozapas Vingras

Vilius Juozapas Vingras is an artist whose work focuses on the multifaceted sphere of science and technology. Using photographic expression and various found, ready-made objects, he creates installations which he complements with performative actions within them. The artist dedicates most of his time to researching themes of nuclear technology history and radiation. Using uranium glass as a central material, he examines the everyday nature of the radiation phenomenon itself, attitudes towards it, and the processes of inheriting nuclear legacy.
