Rafael Paris

Rafael Paris is an emerging photographer born in Madrid, Spain, in 1995. Since 2020, he lives in Porto, Portugal, where he continues to develop his artistic career.

From an early age, Rafael was attracted by photochemistry and the physical and conceptual properties of analogue photography. He discovered the plastic potential of the photographic medium, creating a personal aesthetic universe, where experimentation is mixed with the documentary and the imaginative.

Between the real and the imaginary, his work addresses themes such as the passage of time, self-representation, absence and the meaning of photography in the contemporary era.
